I chose the UNT Health College of Public Health because of its commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation in public health research and dedication to addressing healthcare disparities. The program’s emphasis on evidence-based practice and data-driven solutions aligns with my goal of integrating clinical medicine with public health to improve patient outcomes.

How do you plan on applying the knowledge you gain to your future career?
My goal is to bridge clinical medicine and public health research, particularly in the areas of nutrition, obesity and metabolic disorders. The rigorous training at UNT Health equips me with the analytical skills to conduct epidemiological research that informs healthcare policies and interventions. Ultimately, my training will enable me to contribute to both clinical practice and public health research, ensuring that evidence-based strategies are implemented to improve healthcare access and quality for underserved population
