UNT Health celebrates rebrand with Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

UNT Health Fort Worth hosted the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on campus for a community celebration highlighting its rebrand and ongoing partnership to advance health, education and opportunity in the region.
Community leaders, chamber members and UNT Health representatives gathered to commemorate the rebrand, which reflects the institution’s growing role in healthcare education, research and patient care across North Texas.
“This is more than a new name and logo,” said Dr. Kirk A. Calhoun, president of UNT Health. “It represents the evolution of our institution and our continued commitment to improving the health of our community through education, research and clinical care.”
The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce played a key role in the celebration, with leaders emphasizing the importance of inclusive partnerships that create opportunity and support community growth.
Chamber representatives highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two organizations, noting their shared history of more than 50 years serving Fort Worth and contributing to the region’s development.
“This is not just a moment to celebrate a rebrand, but to celebrate the people and partnerships that make this work possible,” chamber president and CEO Ericka Garza said during the event.
Calhoun emphasized that the UNT Health name reinforces the institution’s connection to the University of North Texas System while reflecting its distinct mission to educate future health professionals, advance biomedical research and provide high-quality patient care.
With nearly $100 million in research funding and a focus on training the next generation of health professionals, UNT Health continues to expand its impact across the community.
Leaders from both organizations expressed gratitude for the partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to improve health outcomes and strengthen the region.
The event concluded with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, marking a new chapter for UNT Health and its continued collaboration with community partners.
