Research Financial Services supports the financial operations and compliance infrastructure of the Division of Research and Innovation at UNT Health. The department provides oversight, financial management, data analytics, compliance monitoring, and strategic financial planning that enable sponsored research activities to operate efficiently and responsibly.

By partnering with investigators, departments, research administrators, and institutional leadership, Research Financial Services ensures that research funding is managed with transparency, accountability, and compliance with sponsor regulations and university policies. The department provides services across the full research lifecycle—from financial planning and system support to post-award accounting, compliance monitoring, and financial reporting—helping UNT Health maintain strong stewardship of research resources and sustain a robust research enterprise.
