Study Overview
The Operation Enduring Brain Health (OEBH) Project is a research study focused on understanding brain health in active service members and U.S. military veterans, including those from the Texas Military Department (Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard, and Texas State Guard.)
Research Specifics
- The program offers a comprehensive baseline assessment, along with follow-up evaluations to monitor changes over time.
All participants undergo the following procedures:
- Memory & Thinking Assessment
- Blood Draw
- Research Functional Exam
- Study Partner Interview
- MRI of the brain
- Amyloid PET Scan
Giving Back
- Participants will receive state-of-the-art evaluations (e.g., MRI and PET scans), with results provided at no cost.
- Gain access to specialized tests that are not typically available elsewhere and are often not covered by insurance.
- Opportunities to join future novel clinical trials focused on protecting brain health and education resources.
