Summer Research Program (SRP)
The 2026 SRP will take place May 11-July 17, 2026.
Applications for the 2026 SRP are now being accepted until March 31, 2026.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate junior or senior; first-year medical student; graduate-school student (open to all universities).
- Interested in pursuing a career in biomedical research.
Objectives
- Network with student cohort, NTERI trainees and leaders.
- Receive training in the techniques necessary to conduct research activities.
- Daily interactions with others at the lab or project site, and participation in formal meetings to discuss research problems and work progress.
- Conclude the program by presenting research at an interdisciplinary poster session.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Complete ten weeks of research work under the guidance of an NTERI faculty member.
- Give at least one research presentation to your peers and faculty.
- Attend the Work-in-Progress Seminars.
- Attend the Journal Club Seminars.
