Institutional Biosafety Committee

The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is required by the National Institute of Health Guidelines. This committee is an advisory on matters relating to the safe use and handling of biological materials – including synthetic and recombinant DNA molecules – on the UNT Health Campus. IBC meets on the third Wednesday of every month from noon to 1 p.m. virtually (TEAMS) or in person. The IBC can be contacted directly via ibc@unthealth.edu.
