Seeing double? No, just identical twins who were almost separated for the first timeHaydon and Payton Miller have been together as long as they can remember, which you would expect for identical twins. They went to the same school system in the tiny town of Dimmitt, Texas. They went to Texas Tech for their undergraduate degrees and even were in the same Master of Science in Medical Science.

First generation college student finds passion, success with MPH from UNTHSCWhen Brianna Lewis was a little girl growing up in Fort Worth, she was always curious. “I always wanted to know ‘why,’” she said. “Whatever I wanted to know, I would just research it.” It is a trait that has continued serving her well as she earns a Master of Public Health in epidemiology.

UNTHSC student earns heart association fellowship for nicotine addiction researchNana Kofi Kusi-Boadum, a Ph.D. candidate in the College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth, was awarded a prestigious American Heart Association predoctoral fellowship to support his research project exploring the nervous system’s role in nicotine addiction.
