UNT Health Student Food Pantry

In order for students to be well and succeed academically, basic needs must be addressed. As a result, the Division of Student Affairs has established a student pantry on campus in an effort to assist UNT Health students impacted by food insecurity.

Library Location

Any current UNT Health student in need can visit the food pantry.

  • Hours: Accessible 24/7.
  • Location: Library Rm 450 (this location is open through August 25, 2026). We celebrate the grand opening of the new and improved food pantry, located in Library Rm 1L2A, on August 25, 2026 from 2 pm - 4 pm.

The use of the UNT Health Food Pantry does not require application or approval. It is available to any student in need, but please weigh and record everything taken. The Division of Student Affairs has established protocols that allow for student confidentiality and dignity to be maintained and respected.

Students who visit the UNT Health Food Pantry can request to meet with a staff member to discuss any difficulties they may be facing by checking-in at the front desk of Student Affairs or on the 2nd floor of the Student Service Center and simply asking to meet with a staff member from the Care Team. Students can also choose to email sarc@unthealth.edu to set up an appointment as well. When appropriate, referral to additional campus and/or community resources will be made.
